Beth Freeman, director of the OSU-Tulsa Library, scans shelves that contain more than 300 archive boxes of rare and unique Oklahoma history. In the Special Collections Department, she is surrounded by aged maps, tourist brochures, postcards, photos, and remarkable memorabilia celebrating a legendary highway, the “Mother Road.”
