| March 7 | FMLA: Supervisors As a supervisor there are certain laws that you should be familiar with to ensure compliance. The Family Medical Leave Act is a federal law that provides job protection to employees in the event of pregnancy, adoption of a child, or if the employee or certain family members of an employee experience a serious illness. This class will review the basics of FMLA that supervisors need to know to comply with the law. |

| March 12 | Coaching for Effective Performance The best supervisors do more than just supervise – they coach their employees to improved performance levels. Find out why employees sometimes don't perform up to expectations and what a supervisor can do to assist in the turning the situation around. This class fulfills the performance review training requirement for supervisors who have previously attended "Performance Reviews 101" (formerly named "Conducting Performance Reviews"). |
