Description:
OSU-Tulsa does not administer the GRE general test, but OSU-Tulsa Testing Services offers all of the following paper-based GRE subject tests:

  • Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Literature in English
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Psychology

The GRE subject tests are designed to help assess an applicant's qualifications in specific fields of study. The scores are intended to indicate knowledge of the subject matter emphasized in many undergraduate programs as preparation for graduate study, and are helpful in predicting a student's success in graduate study. Some Subject Tests include a sub-score in addition to the total score that indicates the strengths and weaknesses of an individual's preparation so as to help him/her plan future studies. Testing time is 2 hours and 50 minutes.

For descriptions of each of the subject tests, visit www.ets.org/gre.

Testing Dates: Subject Tests are offered 3 times a year - once in November, once in December, and once in April. Please call or check with GRE for specific dates.
