Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT)
Fees:
The $125 registration fee is paid when you register online or submit a paper registration form. The registration fee covers one personal score report sent to you and Official Transcripts sent to no more than three colleges of pharmacy or other organizations that you specify when you register. The fee can be paid by credit card or money order.

Registration:
You can assure that your application and payment are received immediately by applying online via the PCAT application. If you choose to submit a paper registration form, you must first call PSE Customer Relations (1-800-622-3231) to request one. Within 48 hours after your registration is received and processed, you will receive an email notice with information about accessing your Registration Confirmation. It is in your best interest to access your Admission Ticket as soon as you receive your email notification in order to avoid any technical difficulties.
Required Identification:
- You must bring your Admission Ticket (printed within 10 business days).
- You must present two forms of valid, unexpired identification. One form of ID must include a photo and a signature. Examples of this ID are a driver's license, school identification card, government-issued identification card or passport.
- A second form of ID may include a credit card, library card, utility bill, or another ID from the above list with your name and address appearing exactly the same as on the first form of identification. You will NOT be admitted to the Test Center wihtout acceptable IDs described above or without your Admission Ticket.
Description:
PCAT is a specialized test that helps identify qualified applicants to pharmacy colleges. It measures general academic ability and scientific knowledge necessary for the commencement of pharmaceutical education. The PCAT is constructed specifically for colleges of pharmacy. It consists of 240 multiple-choice items and two writing topics, and candidates are given four hours to complete the test.
Policies and Procedures:
- Candidates must present their Admission Ticket (printed within 10 business days), primary photo/signature ID, and secondary ID.
- Candidates should bring as few personal items to the testing area as necessary. Personal items cannot be accessed during the text or during the break, including cell phones.
- Candidates will need No. 2 (HB) pencils with erasers.
- Candidates must keep their two IDs with them on the desk during the exam. They will take their IDs with them during the break and must have them to return to the testing room.
- Candidates will be assigned seats in the testing area.
- Latecomers (arriving after the test has begun or after testing has resumed following a rest break) cannot be admitted.

Study Guides:
You will find two practice tests to help you prepare for the exam on the PCAT website (www.pcatweb.info). Each practice test is designed to familiarize you with the types of items and specific content areas that you will encounter in teh five multiple choice subttests on the actual PCAT.
Testing for Students with Disabilities:
Candidates with disabilities who require special testing accommodations must indicate this when submitting their PCAT registration. These candidates are required to submit an Accomodations Request Form and all proper documentation.
