Join us in the North Hall lobby from 3-4 p.m. for welcome week. A wellness attendant will be handing out free stress balls as well as information about the Wellness Center. Browse through our intramural sports brochures, fitness studio information, and much more. Feel free to stop by the Wellness Center in North Hall 116 to see what all the talk is about!

The Fitness Studio schedule for the Spring 2014 semester starts today! All Wellness Center members have FREE access to any or all classes. Haven’t joined the Wellness Center? Sign up online!

Heart Healthy Lunch-n-Learn

Heart disease is one of the leading killers in America. Learn how to lower your risk for heart disease, and the actions you can take to make your heart more healthy. Certified Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Curran and Wellness Coordinator Jeremiah Watkins will be co-teaching this insightful Lunch-n-Learn. Registration is encouraged. Contact Jeremiah Watkins at

Spring 2014 OSU in Tulsa Health Fair

Participants can receive many of the following services: cholesterol screenings, audiology testing, body fat screening and much more. Healthy food and snacks will be provided and participants will be eligible for door prizes. For more information, contact Jeremiah Watkins at 918-594-8147 or

31 Days of Burpees

Do you have what it takes to conquer this burpee challenge? Participants will come to the Wellness Center between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to perform the required amount of burpees for the day. On Monday, March 31 all participants will meet in the Fitness Studio at noon to perform all 31 burpees as a team. Burpees can be scaled for beginners, intermediates or advanced participants. Is 31 burpees not enough? Take the triple burpee challenge and perform three times the burpees per day.

OSU-Tulsa Walking Group

The OSU-Tulsa Wellness Center will be preparing for the 2014 Tulsa Heart Walk by forming a walking group. Participants will meet in the OSU-Tulsa Wellness Center at 12:15 p.m. and will walk to various locations in the downtown Tulsa area.

American Heart Walk Event

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12. The OSU in Tulsa team will be participating in the 2014 Tulsa Heart Walk. To join the team, donate, or receive more information about this event, visit the OSU in Tulsa Team Website.
