American Studies (AMST)
The Minor in American Studies will be supported by the American Studies Program. Student must complete a total of 18 hours with a G.P.A. of 2.5 or better and no grade below “C.” The minor will consist of 3 hours in a required core American Studies class (AMST 3223 – Theory and Method of American Studies), 9 hours of additional AMST-prefix courses - 6 hours of which must be upper-division; and 6 hours drawn from a selected list of upper-division courses with a focus relevant to the field of American Studies. · Request information
